Beginner's Guide to Break a Lucky Block
Welcome to Break a Lucky Block! This guide will help you navigate the basics and get started on your journey.
1. Game Overview
The objective is simple: break "Lucky Blocks" in the central arena, collect the items inside, and bring them back to your base. These items generate income, which you can use to purchase better equipment.
2. Getting Started: The First Steps
Buy Your First Tool
Start by purchasing the Wooden Pickaxe for 100 Cash. This is your basic starting tool.
Fill Your Base
Even if you get low-tier items initially, fill every available slot in your base first. This maximizes your early-game progress.
Double-Tap Action
You can double-tap items to interact with them or pick them up faster.
3. Progression & Upgrades
As you earn money, the game will notify you when better pickaxes are available.
Wooden Pickaxe
Basic starting tool. Your first purchase for 100 Cash.
Stone Pickaxe
Allows you to mine any lucky block, though high-tier blocks will take significant time. Costs 500 Cash.
Rainbow Pickaxe (35,000 Cash)
Significantly increases your mining speed and makes the game much easier. This is your first major milestone!
4. Arena Strategy & Social Rules
The arena can be competitive, and you will encounter different types of players.
- Respect the Grind: Avoid breaking a block that someone else is already working on. It's considered rude and often leads to conflict.
- Handle Toxic Players: If someone is repeatedly stealing your blocks or "trolling" you, don't waste your time getting angry. Server Hopping (leaving and joining a new server) is the most efficient way to save time and effort.
- Karma & Stealing: The game allows you to steal items from others' bases for a small Robux cost (around 40 Robux). This is often used as a retaliatory tactic against toxic players.
5. Pro Tips
Time Management
Time is your most valuable resource. Don't spend too long on a legendary block if you have a weak pickaxe, as someone might swoop in and take it.
Avoid Hazards
Watch out for NPCs like Sammy that can disrupt your progress in the arena.
Keep an Eye on the Shop
Future goals should include maxing out the shop's items like the Speed Coil to move between the arena and your base faster.
